Middle School Treble Festival
March 24, 2026
This event is open to treble singers in grades 6-9. Students will have sectionals and rehearsals on the concert repertoire, have a voice masterclass with one of UNI's voice faculty, and have the opportunity to work with members of the Cecilians, UNI's treble ensemble. All events will culminate in a performance in the Great Hall of the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center! Please contact Heather.Hamilton@uni.edu with any questions.
- $30 registration fee includes t-shirt and dinner.

- Registration deadline is March 10. No refunds will be issued after March 11.

- matching pitch accurately
- very familiar with each of the pieces (almost to memorization)
- independent on their assigned part

Festival Clinician
Our 2026 festival clinician will be Dr. Sara Blessing. Dr. Blessing is Assistant Professor of Instruction in Choral Music Education. Prior to her appointment at UNI, she was Director of Choral Activities at Graceland University. Sara has conducted a variety of regional honor choirs and has been a guest clinician at several schools around the Midwest. In 2016, she was the recipient of Graceland University’s Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching, for which she was nominated by her students.
