Amp Camp
Modern Band Summer Camp
Amp Camp is an innovative summer music camp for all children held annually at the University of Northern Iowa School of Music, covering popular music styles including hip-hop, rock, pop, country, R&B or anything the students are into. All skills levels and abilities are welcome!
Amp Camp 2025 will be held July 20-24.
- No previous musical experience needed.
- Ages 9-19
- All styles: Hip-hop, R&B, rock, pop, country, alternative, etc.
- All skill levels: Beginner to Advanced
- No previous musical experience necessary
- All abilities: Students with special needs welcomed
- All instruments provided
Tuition:
Early Registration Fees - Before June 1, 2025
Commuter (Ages 9-11) - $415*
Commuter (Ages 12-19) - $435*
Residence (Ages 12-19) - $680**
Regular Registration Fees - On or after June 1, 2025
Commuter (Ages 9-11) - $465*
Commuter (Ages 12-19) - $485*
Residence (Ages 12-19) - $730**
- Registration includes:
- Workshops and master classes
- Band practices with coaches
- Camp t-shirt
- End of camp jamfest concert
* Includes lunch in a UNI Dining Center
** Includes three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
