Tallcorn Jazz Festival - Registration

The Tallcorn Jazz Festival and Sinfonian Dimensions in Jazz (SDIJ) Concerts will be held on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 in Bengtson Auditorium (Russell Hall) and Friday, February 20th, 2026 in the Great Hall at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.

The Tallcorn Jazz Festival is proud to offer an outstanding educational experience for your jazz ensemble(s), complete with a great performance space, written and verbal feedback from professional jazz musicians and teachers, a 30-minute clinic from a top-notch educator, and a chance to hear from our SDIJ Guest Artist!

  • Registration will open on October 6th, 2025 at 12 noon.
  • Please submit your registration by November 21st, 2025 at 5 p.m.
  • Please complete this form separately for each group if your school is participating with more than one ensemble.
  • Registration/Ticket Bundles: Like last year, we are offering packages that include SDIJ Concert Tickets for the director and each member of the registered band (Thursday night for 2A and 3A bands; Friday night for 1A and 4A bands).  Please consider taking advantage of this offer and staying for the evening concert featuring UNI Jazz Band One and the SDIJ Guest Artist - available only to the first 10 bands (per night) to choose this package!

AWARDSThe Tallcorn Awards Ceremony will once again take place during the intermission of the SDIJ Concert. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., and intermission is expected to happen around 8:15 p.m.

T-shirts: please ask that each member of your participating band complete the short form found here in order to receive a complimentary t-shirt the day of the festival (please note: this form must be completed by 12 noon on Friday, Jan. 9 in order to receive a complimentary t-shirt).
