Group Piano Classes for Adults

Welcome to Group Piano for Adults!

We have different class options for adults. If you don't see what you're looking for, reach out and we'll see if we can help you find something that works!

  • Beginning Piano for Adults (Beginning Class), Monday or Friday
  • Beginning Piano for Adults (Continuing Class), Friday

The Beginning class is the perfect starter course to teach you basic piano and musical skills.

The Continuing class is intended for those who have completed the Beginning class or have some piano experience.

We will work with students to support their individual musical goals while also covering the basics: note-reading, playing by ear, technique, and making a beautiful sound at the instrument. You will even be able to start learning how to play some of your favorite songs! What you learn in the class has the potential to continue enriching your life for many years to come.

Group classes are held in the UNI group piano lab, where each student will have their own piano and headphones. If you are nervous about other people hearing you play, no worries! You can plug in your headphones! The teacher will still be able to listen in and give you direction. There will also be opportunities for you to play as a group. Sounding like a real piano band, you will learn to play different parts with each other, and to take advantage of the piano's different features, like using different sounds and drum tracks.

We strongly believe that everyone should experience the joy of music making, and group classes are a great way to get started and look forward to meeting you!
