Student Organizations
Joining a student club or organization is a great way to get involved. You’ll meet people who share the same interests – building lifelong friendships – while gaining professional experience, and honing your leadership skills.

Past and Currently Unregistered Organizations
- All Voices Heard in Music
All Voices Heard in Music is a new social music club that will give underrepresented, minority and allied music students an opportunity to feel empowered, create connections, and explore the music and cultures from around the globe. This social club will tackle a significant hurdle within music culture by allowing all music to be appreciated equally. Our objective will be to make sure underrepresented students are given a chance to feel like they rightfully belong in the world of Art Music. Currently our new organization is focused on raising awareness and recruiting students to the group. Some of the organization's objectives will be to have concerts during Black History Month, Pride Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month and other times used to celebrate the heritage of marginalized groups. You don’t have to be a music major or even play an instrument to join the group and we meet on the second Monday of every month in Gallagher Bluedorn room 30. Students who are simply interested in music of all cultures can join.

- American String Teacher Association
ASTA gathers for meetings about once a month and talk about ways of teaching string music and methods. We also have special meetings learning about new styles of technique and ways of incorporating it into our own teaching. Other topics have included new ways of practicing and getting a hold of stage fright.
