Theory Testing

Students are encouraged to purchase books in the Theory Time series.  The individual lesson teacher can recommend the appropriate level.  Students can progress through their own pace.  It is recommended that the book level correspond to the student's grade level. 

Each spring all students in grades 3 and above are given a theory test based on the Theory Time level which they have most recently completed.  The tests are graded and student with outstanding scores at grade level or those who have made significant progress are recognized at the annual Honors Event. Those with the highest level of achievement are also recognized at the annual spring concert.

Dates for the tests are announced in January and will be posted on the school calendar.
