Parking at UNI

To park at UNI, drivers must:

  • display a purchased UNI parking sticker/tag (for UNI faculty/UNI students only)  OR
  • display a purchased UNI Suzuki visitor tag OR
  • pay the parking meters in visitor lots

UNI Visitor Parking Tag

Cost: $44.40

UNI Suzuki School families may order Suzuki visitor tags via their registration form and pick it up at registration or contact Suzuki Coordinator to purchase additional tags during the school year. Tags are valid from August 2026 through August 2027. Summer-only tags are also available. Please contact Suzuki Coordinator cathy.craig@uni.edu for more information.

Replacements for lost or stolen: If you lose your tag, another may be purchased from the Suzuki office on group lesson days.   A limited number of tags are available from the Suzuki office,  so letting the office know in advance if you need another tag would be helpful. 

Restrictions and Notes:

DO NOT park in handicapped, loading or service vehicle zones. Parking tags are not needed for weekends. Display the tag from your rear view mirror when parking at UNI. Suzuki permits are valid only for Suzuki activities and not for other business on campus.

Tickets will be issued if you fail to comply with UNI Parking regulations.  If you receive the citation in error, please contact the Suzuki School office for assistance. 

Location of lots: The Suzuki visitor tag allows you to park in the lot accessed off 23rd St. (Schindler Education building) anytime. It also permits parking in the Russell Hall lot ONLY after 4:00pm on weekdays. A special tag for students needing to park at GBPAC & Russell Hall is available. Do not park in the drop off space near Russell Hall. Do not park in any A lots before 4:00pm on weekdays. If you must park in the metered spaces, remove your tag and pay the meter except for GBPAC tags. 

ALL Suzuki individual lessons and group lessons will be at held Russell Hall or GBPAC. Special events parking is available in the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center lot.
