Panther Marching Band Open House Events
Join us at an Open House in our 2024 season!
Plan to attend one of our Panther Marching Band Open Houses for junior and senior high school band students who are considering attending UNI after graduation. We are excited to invite you to campus to attend our band rehearsal and a football game, where you can meet our students and staff and see our pregame and halftime performances!
In addition, we would love for you to bring your instrument and play in the stands with us after the halftime show. This is a great way to participate with our band and meet some of our current students! There is a place to store your instrument during the game and we will help you retrieve your instrument after halftime. Percussionists should not bring instruments but will be allowed to share an instrument with a current percussion member.
We hope you will consider joining us for a great day of music and football!

Open House Schedule
4 p.m. Kickoff Schedule:
- 1:00pm: Observe Panther Marching Band Rehearsal (UNI-Dome)
- 1:30pm: Campus Tour
- 2:15pm: Meet the band staff and students
- 3:10pm: Enter Dome and find seats in band guest area
- 3:35pm: Panther Marching Band Pregame Show
- 4:00pm: Kickoff
After halftime: Our students will help you retrieve your instrument from its storage location and will take you into the stands to perform with us for the third and fourth quarters.
1 p.m. Kickoff Schedule:
- 10:00am: Observe Panther Marching Band Rehearsal (UNI-Dome)
- 10:30am: Campus Tour
- 11:15am: Meet the band staff and students
- 12:10pm: Enter Dome and find seats in band guest area
- 12:35pm: Panther Marching Band Pregame Show
- 1:00pm: Kickoff
After halftime: Our students will help you retrieve your instrument from it's storage location and will take you into the stands to perform with us for the third and fourth quarters.
We will not host an open house at our annual Band Day event. We encourage you to attend Band Day, bring your instrument and uniform, and perform on the field with the Panther Marching Band during halftime! For more information, visit our Band Day page.
