Community Horn Choir

The UNI Community Horn Choir is an ensemble for all horn enthusiasts at any age and ability. This ensemble is directed by UNI School of Music Horn Instructor, Dr. Maddy Tarantelli. Members can expect to play a variety of horn repertoire while developing their horn sound and musical literacy. Dr. Tarantelli focuses on providing space for members to learn to play with ease, make beautiful sounds, learn technique to best serve the music, and create community. 

The Community Horn Choir will meet monthly on Saturday from 10-11:30am in Davis Hall at the University of Northern Iowa.

  • Spring rehearsals start January 13, 2024 *1/13 rehearsal has been cancelled due to weather. New rehearsal date will be announced.
  • Rehearsals will meet monthly from 10-11:30am at the University of Northern Iowa

      • February 3: Davis Hall (Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center)
      • March 2: Bengtson Auditorium (Russell)
      • April 6: Jebe Hall (Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center)
      • May 4: Davis Hall (Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center)
