The UNI Concert Chorale is the flagship choral ensemble at the University of Northern Iowa and is comprised of undergraduate and graduate music students selected by competitive audition from all academic disciplines. Recent major performances include requiems by Brahms, Duruflé, and Mozart, Ralph Vaughan William's Hodie, and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. Concert Chorale tours both domestically and internationally, and can be heard on the CENTAUR Record Label.

UNI Singers is the largest mixed-voice ensemble in the School of Music. The group performs diverse literature from all styles of the choral repertoire. Comprised of music majors and non music majors, UNI Singers is an auditioned group that has developed a strong reputation for excellence. UNI singers typically performs twice during the fall and spring terms and frequently join forces with other ensembles (choral and instrumental) at UNI.
Cantorei is an elite group of auditioned singers who currently serve as the soloists and chorus for the Northern Iowa Bach Cantata Series. Throughout the academic year, Cantorei prepares and performs Bach Cantatas with members of the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony for the UNI community during a series of noontime concerts in the McElroy Lobby of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. In addition to the Northern Iowa Bach Cantata Series, Cantorei performs additional concerts of varied repertoire. In fall 2022, Cantorei performed Hildegard von Bingen's "Ordo Virtutum."

The University of Northern Iowa Cecilians (formerly the Women's Chorus) is a premiere ensemble dedicated to artistry, friendship and preserving its heritage as the oldest ensemble on campus. The ensemble builds upon its rich tradition through innovative programming and forward thinking commissions, drawing members from across academic disciplines. Cecilians creates an inclusive community of strong, proud treble singers through song while embracing their 130 year heritage. Cecilians was founded as the Cecilian Glee Club in 1888 by Julia Curtiss, and was the start of the choral program at UNI. The ensemble tours internationally every two years, is open to every major on campus, and there is no audition requirement to join Cecilians.
UNI VARSITY GLEE CLUB
The UNI Varsity Glee Club is among the most cherished organizations on campus. Drawing its membership from across academic disciplines, the Glee Club is well-known for its Christmas Variety Show, International and Regional Tours, and unparalleled camaraderie.
