Our Faculty

The string division at the UNI School of Music is an exciting educational and performance-driven environment. We offer individual instruction in violin, viola, cello, bass (classical and jazz), guitar (classical and jazz), and harp. Our varied performance opportunities include the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra (which also includes chamber orchestra and opera orchestra opportunities), chamber music ensembles, master classes with visiting string artists from around the world, and special events for string players.
