The Brown Bottle in Waterloo is looking for someone to provide our lobby entertainment during the holiday season. We are looking for someone to play piano on December 1, 2, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23. 29, 30 and 31. In the past, we have had someone play from 4:30 to 8:30 (we can be somewhat flexible) and have paid $25 an hour, or $100 per gig, along with a $25 food and beverage voucher. You are also welcome to use a tip jar. You do not have to be available on all dates, we are just looking for people to fill those slots.

The Charles City Community is seeking highly qualified instrumental and vocal teachers to teach elementary-high school students on a weekly basis in Charles City, Iowa. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency on his or her instrument, and should also demonstrate knowledge of current instrumental and/or vocal teaching methods. Teachers will be compensated at a rate of $10 per half hour lesson taught. Instructors will teach blocks of 6 or more lessons. These will be held on Sunday evenings beginning in January 2018. Facilities will be provided for lessons to be taught in the Charles City Community. Please contact me for more information.

Responsibilities include: Implementing Music Programs for residents in Memory Care, Nursing Care, Assisted Living and Independent Living, plan and lead music centered activities for small and large groups, provide 1:1 music opportunities for residents, assist Programming and Activity Department with special events. Musician For Awards Ceremony (String Quartet, OR Piano, OR Harp)
Hello! I am a part of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, and we are hosting an awards ceremony/ luncheon on April 5th. We are looking for a musician(s) to play background music during the event. We are looking for either a pianist, a string quartet, or someone who plays the harp. You would have to be at the event around 11am that morning, you would then play until the program started, during lunch, and then after the awards are complete ( You would be finished around 1:30-2pm). As you would be working over the lunch hour, we would provide you with the catered food at the event, and you would be compensated $30(per musician) for your services. We would like 2-3 female musicians to perform a 35-40 minute mini concert with some talks about the pieces in between. This is for a library's ladies tea party. $100 total can be paid by the Friends of the Library.
Pianist and Acoustic Guitar Player
I am getting married June 23rd at the UNI Commons- Georgian Lounge and Porch. It is a small wedding of about 50 guests. Looking for a guitarist for my fairly short ceremony and a pianist for my entire reception as background music (3-4 hours). I would like more contemporary songs.
