Aiden Endres is a senior Percussion Performance Major at the University of Northern Iowa, originally from Minnesota. Throughout his time at UNI, Aiden has been an active member of various ensembles, including the UNI Wind Ensemble, Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, percussion ensembles, jazz combos, and chamber ensembles. He also leads his jazz fusion band, Bok Choy, which captivates audiences in Minneapolis and across the Midwest.
 
Aiden's musical achievements include an honorable mention in UNI's Concerto Competition and a position as Section Percussionist/Assistant Timpanist with the Knox-Galesburg Symphony in Illinois. Dedicated to his craft, he seeks mentorship from professionals like Erich Rieppel, Principal Timpanist of the Minnesota Orchestra, and actively participates in auditions for prestigious summer festivals and competitions nationwide. 
 
Recently, Aiden received first place in UNI's 2024 Emerging Artist Competition and was accepted into the Sandbox Percussion Seminar for the Summer of 2024.
