Looking for a solo performer for our "tiny art show" opening reception. It is a community event to unveil their tiny art submissions, with a tattoo artist doing tiny art demos. If anyone owns and knows how to play ukulele, that would be a bonus (since it fits the "tiny" theme). The performer would be background to the main event, so ideally be able to play unplugged and a bit quieter (vocals not required, but I am not opposed to a musician singing if they wish). The entire reception is an hour and a half (5:30 - 7:00 p.m.), so the amount total we have budgeted for would be $300. | Yes | $200 Hourly |

Position: Musicians/Worship Team Church Name: Faith Walkers Church of the Cedar Valley Location: 7400 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls, IA (Inside the Bien VenU) Pastor: Pastor Antonio Wells Compensation: $45-75 per Sunday (Compensation WILL grow beyond $75 as the church grows) Service Time: 1:30 PM on Sundays (We are normally done no later than 3:30 PM) You would be needed on Sundays primarily! (OCCASIONALLY, we have a second service on Sundays or… A Friday Night but it is a rarity.) Are you a musician with a Gospel/Pentecostal style of play or willing to learn? Do you have a background in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) that could complement our worship? We want you! Requirements: - Gospel Background/Pentecostal style of play - Willingness to learn if not already experienced - A CCM background is a plus What We Offer: - A starting compensation of $45-75 per Sunday starting - Opportunities for growth in compensation as the church grows - A chance to make a tremendous impact in the community - A chance to travel occasionally with our Church to various places as we fellowship both in and out of the state with other churches. We would like a solo string player to come and play during our girls night out event at the La Porte City FFA, Historical and Ag museum. For this event you would play from 6-7:30 with break for dinner, which we will provide, and then finish with another 30 min of playing. We would love to have someone with repertoire options so we can get a nice variety of music. If you are interested please reach out. |
