Kara McGonegle

Originally from Fort Dodge, Iowa, Kara McGonegle is a 3rd-year saxophone student at the University of Northern Iowa, double-majoring in Instrumental Music Education and Psychology with minors in Mental Health and Social Emotional Learning and certificates in School Psychology, Conflict Resolution, and Schooling and the Future of Education. During her time at UNI, Kara has performed with the UNI Symphonic Band, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Ensemble, Panther Marching Band, and Jazz Band III. Outside of classes and ensembles, Kara participates in UNI's Spectrum Project, Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and works as a substitute teacher and paraeducator. This is Kara's first year with Camp Musicmania, and she is very excited to get started!
