Morgan Uitermarkt

Morgan Uitermarkt, originally from Pella Iowa, is in her third year pursuing a degree in instrumental music education at the University of Northern Iowa. She currently studies trombone in the studio of Dr. Anthony Williams.

Morgan has been very involved in music while at UNI. She has participated in Wind Ensemble, Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band Two, Jazz Band One, Panther Marching Band, Trombone Quartet, Brass Quintet, and Trombone Choir. She also has a private trombone studio in which she enjoys teaching summer lessons.

When she’s not playing the trombone, she enjoys cooking, photography, biking and spending time with friends and family. Morgan is thrilled with the opportunity to work with the New Horizons trombone section.
