Adam Denner is a native of Northern Iowa, coming originally from the town of Algona. He attended the University of Northern Iowa for his undergraduate, where he graduated with a degree in Music Education in 2020. He studied tuba with Drs. Jesse Orth and Stephanie Ycaza, while also taking non-major pipe organ lessons with Dr. Randall Harlow. While at UNI, Adam was active in many organizations, including UNITUBA, the Guild of Carrilloneurs, and others!
 
After graduating, Adam taught 5-12 instrumental music at Beckman Catholic High and Xavier Elementary in Dyersville, Iowa (that place with the Field of Dreams). While there, he was responsible for all instrumental teachings, including marching, concert, pep, and jazz bands. He also played keyboard for weekly Mass services. Starting this Fall, Adam will be teaching K-6 general music at Hudson.
 
Adam is widely involved in music in the community as well, playing tuba and low brass for local musicals, municipal bands, jazz bands, and other activities.  He has also been teaching private lessons for 5 years in the Dyersville area. Through all of this, he has has experience teaching students young and old, from absolute beginner to highly experienced, on many different instruments. His passion is helping people find the joy in music and learn to make music they love, while helping them to share that joy with the world around them.
