Levi Temple

Levi Temple is a trombonist and composer from Monticello, Iowa, finishing the requirements to earn a bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Jazz/General) from the University of Northern Iowa. Recent accomplishments include selection to the Telluride Jazz Festival Student All-Stars and winning the Collegiate division of the Iowa Brass Young Artist Competition. Levi is credited as a performer and/or composer in several recording sessions, including his first CD of original music, What Once Was, and his upcoming release, How We Got Here. Equally respected as a composer, he has had over a dozen compositions and arrangements premiered, including a commissioned score for the UNI Theatre Department’s 2024 production of The Tempest.
