School of Music community and supporters:

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect student and employee health – and with guidance from the Iowa Board of Regents – UNI has announced that all on-campus courses will switch over to exclusive online instruction beginning Monday, March 23 through at least Friday, April 3. In alignment with this, the School of Music is suspending all live performances and scheduled events for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester.

Students who were scheduled to present recitals should communicate directly with their applied instructors to make arrangements. Ensembles and studio recital participants should check in with their studio instructors and ensemble conductors for further information.

If you have purchased a ticket to an upcoming ticketed School of Music event, you will receive a refund credited back to the method of payment used at the time of purchase.

Registrants for paid workshops, festivals and activities will also be refunded their registration fees in full.

We plan to communicate with our audience through our e-mail listserv (Music Notes), School of Music social media channels, and the music.uni.edu homepage. Please plan to watch these for updates on when we can return to regularly scheduled events.

Thank you for your continued support! Stay healthy and well!
