Music Supplement Form

This is the music supplement to the UNI Scholarship Application for Undergraduates. Submitting this application notifies the School of Music at the University of Northern Iowa of your interest in their programs. A representative of the UNI School of Music will contact you shortly after you submit this application. You should submit this application at least 3 weeks before your audition date, if at all possible. 

To be considered for other scholarships available at the University of Northern Iowa, please complete a UNI Scholarship Application for Undergraduates.

Prior Education Information

The Prior Education Information section of this application includes high school and/or other college information.
Transfer students, please provide information on your previous college experience.

New Student Music Entrance/Scholarship Auditions

Deadline: Three (3) weeks before announced audition dates. A complete application must include the UNIversity Scholarship Application and this completed supplement.
If you would like to audition on a secondary instrument, please contact Melinda.Boyd@uni.edu.

Video Audition

If you selected to submit your audition by video, please plan to submit your repertoire and video audition by following this link. You will also be asked if you'd like to audition for the jazz area and be able to submit a video audition for that, as well. Composition students may submit up to three scores/audio files for their online audition this year.  

Please note: for video submissions, applicants must submit an audition video on their primary instrument using the recommended repertoire first, and will be asked if they would also like to submit a jazz audition on that initial audition submission form.

Please request that one reference complete the online reference form found here (music.uni.edu/reference).
