Jazz Combo Camp (this camp is cancelled for 2020; please join us for a virtual improvisation workshop on June 22! Click for more information.)
A week-long exploration of jazz music for high school students, including performances, workshops, jam sessions, master classes and more.
Camp Musicmania (Community Music School) (this camp is cancelled for 2020; please join us in 2021!)
In interactive and exciting camp experience for children grades K-9 (split in two divisions). Activities include singing, dancing, recreation, drumming, Orff instruments, drama, and art.
Percussion Camp (this camp is cancelled for 2020; please join us in 2021!)
This four-day event is designed for high school students who are interested in improving their musical skills in a variety of percussion areas. Campers will participate in daily ensemble rehearsals, masterclasses, campus experiences, and a culminating concert.
Amp Camp (this camp is cancelled for 2020; please join us in 2021!)
Amp Camp is an innovative summer music camp at the University of Northern Iowa School of Music covering popular music styles including hip-hop, rock, pop, country and R&B. All skills levels and abilities welcome!
Panther Marching Band Camp
A one-day camp to prepare high school drum majors, colorguard, and student leadership for the fall marching season.
RockShop! (this course will be held online, summer 2021)
This course will provide teachers with the tools and resources to bring student-centered, culturally responsive, and inclusive music education to students. The RockShop Modern Band Workshop is designed to teach the skills, curriculum, and network to successfully run a modern band program at any grade level or music classroom.
Audio Engineering for Educators (this course will be held online, summer 2021)
Today's classrooms are equipped with technology to enhance learning and instruction. Audio equipment in the schools can come in many forms — from sound reinforcement gear to computerized digital audio recording. Learn the skills that audio engineers use for capturing the best performances from your students.
