Assistant Adjunct Professor of Low Brass
Michael Stow is a trombonist and music educator from Cedar Falls. He is an active performer, holding the positions of Principal Trombone in the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra and Bass Trombone in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra, and regularly performs with jazz/commercial groups across the state. Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa, and a Master's Degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Minnesota, with previous teachers including Dr. Anthony Williams, Professor Thomas Ashworth, and Dr. John Tranter.
