Zach Midtling

Zach Midtling is from Fort Dodge, Iowa, and is entering his third year at the University of Northern Iowa, where he is pursuing a degree in Choral Music Education. He studies voice under Professor Kate Saulsbury.

During his time at UNI, Zach has performed with a variety of vocal ensembles, including Concert Chorale, Varsity Men's Glee Club, Cantorei, and the Opera Ensemble. In addition, he serves as the Voice Division Representative for the UNI School of Music Student Advisory Board and as the Secretary/Treasurer of the University of Northern Iowa's chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

Outside of music, Zach enjoys watching movies and television, with a particular interest in superhero and comic book stories. He also enjoys building LEGO sets, spending time with friends. His favorite thing to do, however, is spend quality time with his 6 younger siblings.

After graduating, Zach plans to become a high school choral director.
