Lauren Leman

Lauren Leman (Voice and Piano) is a 2023 graduate of UNI with a master's degree in vocal performance. She also attended UNI for her undergraduate degree where she studied music education. Lauren has performed in academic and professional settings with UNI Opera, Concert Chorale, Bay View Music Festival, and Cedar Rapids Opera. Though she chose the performance route, teaching has always been one of her passions. She has worked with the Spectrum Project, taught at Camp MusicMania, and music directed musicals for Columbus High School and Cedar Falls Community Theater. She is trained in K-12 instructional techniques, and has experience working with students and adults with differing abilities. Lauren is a strong advocate for the importance of arts education, and believes that music is for everyone.
