Dora Roorda

Dora is a sophomore music education major from Pella, Iowa. She comes from a family of six kids, and has twelve nieces and nephews! She is an avid lover of music and is excited to share it with others. Her main instrument is trumpet, and her involvements at UNI include the Panther Marching Band as a music section leader, UNI Symphonic Band, Jazz Band Two, a jazz combo, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band One. She loves music, reading, taking walks, and drinking tea. She also has three cats and a dog whom she loves very much.
