Claire Uselding

Claire Uselding (saxophone) is an undergraduate instrumental music education student at UNI originally from Huxley, IA. Through her time at UNI, Claire has been involved in the UNI Wind Ensemble, UNI Jazz Band One, Two and Three, various saxophone quartets/ensembles, the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra and the Panther Marching Band. She studies classical saxophone with Dr. Ann Bradfield and jazz saxophone with Mr. Chris Merz. Prior to teaching saxophone lessons, Claire has taught dance classes back in her hometown with students ages 3-15. Outside of music, Claire enjoys cooking/baking, spending time outside, and anything having to do with her many houseplants.
