Aussie Haworth

My name is Aussie Haworth and I am excited to be teaching art!  

I tend to work with clay and paints, but I have a passion for all of the mediums I've been introduced to in my time with UNI.  I am a Junior at UNI pursuing a major in Art Education.  After graduation, I hope to teach art at the elementary level in the Pacific Northwest.  I have previously worked for the Hearst Center for the Arts as a Summer Camp instructor as well as for UNI's Spectrum Project as an Art Director.  My primary professional goal is to build community between students and their neighborhoods through the art we make together, and I hope to bring art to everyone in my community regardless of whether they think of themselves as an artist.  Outside of teaching, I enjoy drinking coffee and tea, writing poetry and prose, and spending time with my friends and family
